Yeal

One of my biggest days bikepacking thus far! Covered around 70.3 kilometres in total, riding through Tuart, Jarrah and Banksia woodlands, coastal heath and pine plantations. I’m lucky enough that I can cycle 20 minutes or so from my pad and be on a vast network of quiet dirt roads. Lots of wildlife & natural spaces. No noise pollution for the most part, and only the rare 4WD who I always exchange a wave with. An ideal proving ground and somewhere I’m only just now beginning to explore thoroughly. Despite it having been on my door step for the last few years. I think that’s one of the beauties of off road cycling, it really expands your options for exploration and spurs on a desire to get to know your local area more.
