Jake YarwoodThis is a photograph I made for Enlightened Equipment of their Prodigy quilt (now known as the Revelation APEX) back in November 2015. Taken during my thru-hike of the Bibbulmun Track here in Western Australia. I was about 440km into my 1000km journey at this point, just south of a charming little town called Balingup to be specific.
Despite the early morning condensation from the foggy valley below, cowboy camping here under an incredibly starry sky was such a treat. It was a pretty lucid night of hazy dreams all things considered, but a night to be treasured nonetheless. I awoke that morning to watch the sunrise after a dewy and star filled night cowboy camping above the Blackwood River Valley.
All the gear you see here is the same kit I carried on my 1,000km thru-hike of the Bibbulmun Track in Western Australia. An Enlightened Equipment quilt, a Sea to Summit pillow, along with a Klymit sleeping pad and backpack, plus some La Sportiva trail runners and Black Diamond trekking poles.
