As you may have noticed, I have decided to rename this project. I feel ‘Wild Nature Matters’ is a much more fitting title than ‘The Heron in the River’. It is something I’d been thinking about a lot in recent months and I just feel Wild Nature Matters is a much more suitable term to work under. It is simple, open ended and to the point. It allows room for growth and has a story unto itself. #wildnaturematters is also the hashtag I started up when I began posting on this account, and since that point it is now over 800 posts strong. Browsing through the posts there fills me with hope and awe, folk from all over the world sharing their wondrous stories and all the while making a point to say that wild nature matters, that the living world has value. It’s heart warming and nourishing to say the least. After this hiatus I plan on posting more frequently here though I can’t promise regularity. There have been some big and positive changes for me over the last few months, but now I think I can finally put some more energy into this dream boat of a project. Big love to everybody and thank you all for the support. It means more to me than words can express. Here’s to new horizons and moving forward!
