Jake YarwoodPaddling down the Moore River here in WA has been one of the most eye opening outdoor experiences I’ve had as of late. I hadn’t paddled at all prior to getting this packraft and I’m enamoured by being on the water now. It opens up a whole world of possibilities in terms of human powered travel, not to mention it cultivates endless new experiences. Paddling allows you to see the land from a different perspective, something I’m wholly not used to in this sense, given hiking and bikepacking are my most familiar outdoor pursuits besides bushcraft. The packraft pictured is made by the Australian based PacKraft, who can be found at packraft.com.au – The model you see here is their Large Self Bailing boat and it has been a real pleasure to use up to now.
